how can a person know everything at 18 and nothing at 22? i hit my peak at 7. i wish i’d never grown up. i never grew up, it’s getting so old. i have this thing where i get older but just never wiser. give me back my girlhood, it was mine first. you know???
Just seen someone saying that Aedion is the Tamlin of the Throne of Glass fandom. Some people really do have zero reading comprehension.
“Why hasn’t there been a revolution against Rhysand and his group of nepos yet” because they aren’t the bad rulers y’all are so desperate to paint them out to be. All the essays you write about them aren’t accurate to what goes on in the books.
Feyre isn’t hated in the CON because she’s young or “illiterate” (how would people even know that about her?) . She’s hated because she’s a woman. She’s hated because she’s the first high lady and they aren’t used to women being in power. She’s not hated because she’s 20 years old or inexperienced. She’s degraded multiple times for being a woman by kier and Beron yet you just chose to ignore that? Y’all talk about misogyny in the series then go out of your way to ignore ACTUAL misogyny and replace it with something else.
Rhysand is not hated for “ignoring his people and being a tyrant” he’s hated for being both Illyrian and Fae. I know some of you don’t actually read the books because in acofas Mor talks about how people would call him (halfbreed) behind closed doors and some of his lords left because he put bastards and women in positions of power. It has nothing to do with the fantasies y’all have about him being a bad ruler. It has everything to do with people’s prejudice.
And I can talk about the entire inner circle and the reasons they are hated and why it has nothing to do with the reasons YOU think they’re hated. Y’all dedicate your entire pages to calling out racism and misogyny in the series then you blatantly ignore ACTUAL racism and misogyny and erase it just because you don’t like a character.
Feysand antis make me fascinated because I've never understood reading comprehension assignments at school until I entered this fandom and now I get it.
How do you read the series and come up with stupid shit like "they love each other because of the bond"
When it hasn't snapped in place for them when they fall in love?
Rhys distanced himself from Feyre because he could feel the pull and he was scared of it, he didn't even acknowledge they were mates he didn't even think about it.
He fell in love with Feyre when she was a freaking badass fighting in a pits and throwing him a middle finger.
He allowed himself to realize what they were towards each other when she was being killed by Amarantha. By then he was already in love just because for who Feyre was as a person, and he was ready to die for her.
Feyre didn't love Rhys. He saved her from an unwanted wedding and they had become friends because he gave her a safe space where she didn't feel suffocated by the constant masking she had to do while in Spring Court.
It is stated multiple times in the books that mating bonds are often wrong. That those relationships often don't work out at all. That people can be wrong for each other.
It is stated by other characters that Feyre's and Rhys relationship SHOCKED everyone around for how pure of love it was.
Their relationship was one in a million, not because of just a mating bond, but because of the true love and understanding in between them.
Feyre chose to stay in the Night Court. She chose to leave the Spring Court. She chose to not come back with Lucien. She chose to become a High Lady. She had chosen for Hybern to destroy any bond between her and Rhys because she knew, that even if their bonds were broken they'd still love each other as much as they already did.
She chose to go to Spring Court, and she chose to come back to her mate, her court.
How the fuck do you guys read ACOMAF and say shit like "Feyre lost all of her independence" when ACOMAF was the first moment in Feyres life where she was given choices and freedom is beyond me.
Been rereading the acotar series recently and just
Why would Feyre go for Tamlin when Lucien is RIGHT THERE.
